Women's Issues:

Support for women at ever stage including perimenopause and menopause

Women are often expected to absorb enormous change quietly: the weight of managing your personal and professional identities, the enormity of having children or not having children, the emptiness of an empty nest, and the physical and emotional shifts of perimenopause/menopause. Too often, the message from the world around you is to just push through it.

This is a different kind of space. Whether you’re finding your professional footing, renegotiating your relationships and identity, or simply looking for support as a woman at your particular stage of life, you’ll be taken seriously and met with warmth. We’ll make room for what’s actually happening in your body, your relationships, and your inner world, and work toward a version of this chapter that feels like yours.

The In-Between Years

Navigating Transitions

Some transitions are exciting. Some are painful. Most are both at once, and nearly all of them unsettle our sense of who we are and where we're headed. Transitions ask us to let go of a version of ourselves that used to fit and grow into one that doesn't quite exist yet — and that in-between can feel disorienting.

This is especially true for teens and young adults, facing so much change in so little time: starting high school, applying to colleges, the first semester away from home, a breakup, a first job, moving back home when things didn't go as planned.

Wherever you are in the shift, it's a genuinely good reason to have support. Together we'll steady the ground under you, make sense of what's shifting, and help you move forward with more clarity and confidence: grounded, but not stuck.

ANXIETY

ANXIETY THERAPY

Anxiety isn’t a flaw or a failure. It’s a nervous system doing its best to keep you safe, often based on lessons it learned a long time ago. But it’s also exhausting! Through an Interpersonal Neurobiology lens, we won’t just try to think our way out of it. We’ll pay attention to what’s happening in your body, notice the patterns underneath the worry, and build real, practical tools that help you feel grounded so you can move through the world alert but not on edge, present in your own skin, confident and competent.

You don’t have to be in crisis to want this kind of support. If anxiety has been making your life smaller than it needs to be, that’s reason enough to reach out.

Trauma & Grief

integration-based therapy

Trauma and loss don't stay politely in the past. They live in the body and the nervous system, in the way you startle, brace, shut down, or replay. Grief works the same way: it isn't a problem to be solved so much as a weight to be carried, and it deserves to be honored rather than rushed.

My approach is integration-based. That means we won't try to erase what happened or talk you out of your feelings about it. Instead, we'll help the pieces (the emotions, the bodily sensations, the memories, the relational patterns) come into greater coherence, so the experience takes up its rightful place in your story instead of overwhelming the whole of it. The goal isn't to "get over" it. It's to move through the world more freely again, validated and supported, at your own pace.

Nature Therapy

Not all healing happens indoors

For some people, four walls and a couch are exactly right. For others, the nervous system settles most out in the open: moving, breathing, noticing.

Nature therapy brings the natural world into our work in a few ways: as a setting (some sessions can happen outdoors, when appropriate), as metaphor (the natural world is full of images that help us understand our own patterns), and as relationship, the sense of belonging and reciprocity that comes from being part of something larger than ourselves. This fits the jackrabbit ethos exactly: attuned to your environment, at home in your body, moving through the world like you belong here. If this speaks to you, let's talk about what it could look like.

Neurodivergent Support

Neurodivergent-Affirming Support

Gifted kids, autistic clients, and neurodivergent adults are often handed therapy that's really about helping them mask, mute, or "manage" who they are. That's not what happens here.

As a former teacher, I've long been drawn to how different minds actually work, and I approach neurodivergence with genuine curiosity and respect rather than a checklist. My aim is to be a welcoming, affirming space, one that helps you understand your own wiring, work with it rather than against it, and build a life that fits the person you actually are.
